Branching out

Welcome to my new blog, I hope to showcase my images both those taken underwater but also land photography. It is my aim to act as a resource for others to use. In addition I want to highlight issues that are a concern for me and I hope also others. This blog is in addition to my OThree blog, some posts may be duplicated.

Here are some images to get started!

Taken on the James Egan Layne, visibility was not great with fine silt in the whole water column, still able to see the wreck but certainly not as clear as I have seen the old dame. I think the conditions helped with capturing this image, often in clear conditions the roof area would be too bright. Just to prove it’s not just underwater, here is a shot of a kingfisher, taken using a hide & baited pool beside a natural stream to attract the birds, I would urge anyone with an interest in wildlife photography to go on one of these photo days, I used Nature Photography Hides

Finally just to show that the best camera is the one you are holding…
